Sam
Sam is a dog found by Max Colfort in Cargill Park. An affectionate timber wolf/lab mix, whose coat is yellow washed with grey. Most striking to those who meet him first is his size—he looks like just short of a Great Dane—as well as his peculiar cobalt eyes. Sam has an instinctive dislike for those who hide behind facades, and is remarkably protective of his companion. He and Max run with the dawn every morning he’s not on-call.
