Convivial and outgoing, Alexandra’s almost the direct opposite of her research partner, Colin.  She has long, strawberry-blonde wavy hair that falls between her neck and shoulder-line, and tends to dress poshly—at least as much as she can on a grad student’s stipend.  She’s fascinated by the role of the sexes in ancient literature, and even more fascinated by what modern scholars say and think about them.  In fact, she’s picking up a sociology degree while in grad school on the sly.  She’s hoping to do a study on what the sexual and gender analysis of her contemporary scholars have to say about them and modern culture.  She kids Colin all the time about being a turtle, rather than a man, and has a small mean streak in her that sometimes lashes out when she’s contradicted or corrected…or worse yet, ignored.
